Service Engineer (Field) Role

Join a highly successful manufacturer of forklift trucks and take on a challenging role as a Service Engineer (Field). This is an excellent opportunity for engineers from various backgrounds, including plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, cleaning equipment, or similar, to join an employee-driven company offering comprehensive training and support.

The Service Engineer (Field) role will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts in and around Glasgow. No stay away or extensive travel is required. Excellent OTE available through overtime and commission.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
  2. Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
  3. Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment
  4. Spares placed in van overnight

Requirements:

  1. Experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
  2. Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
  3. IT literate

This is a great career opportunity for vehicle technicians looking to move into a new industry as the company will fully train. As part of a team of engineers, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts in and around Glasgow.
