About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CAD Design Technician to join our team at Richter, a leading engineering design consultancy. As a CAD Design Technician, you will play a crucial role in the success of our design teams, working on a variety of challenging and complex infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively utilize drafting tools and software, including AutoCAD, REVIT, and Microstation, to create accurate and detailed designs.
  • Develop advanced CAD and BIM skills, including Revit/Synchro, as part of professional development.
  • Issue drawings to engineers and manage electronic information, including preparation and issue of drawing and document schedules.
  • Understand commercial requirements of projects and the company as a whole.
About You
  • Diploma or Higher Certificate in Civil/Structural Engineering or a relevant subject.
  • Competent IT skills, including MS Office.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience of technical drawing using CAD in a consultancy environment.
  • Good level of knowledge and understanding of Civil Engineering drafting and practice.
  • Good understanding of civil and structural engineering terminology.
  • Ability in the use of at least one common engineering CAD software package, such as AutoCAD, REVIT, or Microstation.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
