We are seeking a highly skilled and organized HR Administrator to join our team at Singer Instruments. As an employee-owned company, we prioritize our people and invest in their growth and development.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, 6-month contract position with the potential for permanency. You will report directly to the HR and HSE Managers and support other leaders and managers across the business with all their HR/HSE needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the HR and HSE functions, including maintaining employee and HSE records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, and managing HR and HSE documentation.
- Support the team with data analysis and ensure compliance with employment and HSE laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Be a point of contact for HR and HSE queries and provide excellent customer service to employees and management.
- Contribute to a proactive people and safety culture within the business.
- Superb written English with excellent copywriting ability.
- Confidence and strong working knowledge across common computer packages, including MS and Google Suite.
- Previous administration experience.
- An independent working style and self-motivated.
- Fast, accurate, and diligent note-taking skills with attention to detail.
- An understanding of recruitment and onboarding processes.
- An understanding of risk management and compliance.
- A committed approach to continuous improvement.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality.
- The capability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business.
- Own transport required to travel between both office sites.
