MacGregor Black is collaborating with a Food Production organization to find an International Sourcing Leader. This is a permanent opportunity.
As the International Sourcing Leader, your focus will be on achieving exceptional outcomes and establishing a competitive edge. You will play a key role in formulating the regional category strategy or may lead it for specific sub-categories, while overseeing the sourcing process and introducing innovative ideas through effective methodologies. You will develop, support, and implement all global procurement strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
In your role, reporting directly to the Head of Indirect Procurement, you will:
- Design and implement regional category strategies into sourcing and efficiency initiatives, identifying the necessary team to successfully execute the project plan.
- Achieve cost-saving projects across regional expenditures and enhance value improvement initiatives within the category.
- Engage proactively with team members to grasp current and future needs and align on a cohesive strategy.
- Provide insights and impact assessments for Global Procurement teams to support and execute global procurement strategies in your region.
- Act in accordance with and embody the One Procurement Community (OPC) to facilitate our journey towards Procurement Excellence (JPE).
- Manage comprehensive procurement responsibilities across category strategy and supply chain.
What are we looking for?
- A degree or equivalent experience in procurement.
- Prior procurement experience in Professional Services, HR, Finance, or Travel categories.
- A proven history of consistent performance and successful delivery.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in advanced category management and sourcing practices.
- Strong strategic category experience (from strategy to execution) to build credibility with internal and external partners.
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, and influencing skills with a confident presence.
- A positive attitude and the ability to drive results effectively.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with experience in SAP and Office applications.
- A structured yet adaptable approach, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in project management and organizational change capabilities.
