Job Title: Site Project Engineer

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract, potential to go permanent

Location: Derby area with M1 access

Our client is a category leader in Manufacturing, committed to Manufacturing Excellence. With multi-million CAPEX signed off, they require a FIXED TERM Site Project Engineer to work at a prestigious manufacturing facility in the Derby area. Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning and implementation of capital and revenue projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery
  • Cover supplier selection, financial control, and customer acceptance, owning factory equipment including a new manufacturing line, HARD FM site services, and related works
  • Deliver pragmatic, value-engineered projects to cost and time specifications, with complete autonomy
  • Lead engineering and production teams during equipment installation and start-up, supplier selection, URS User Requirement Specifications, feasibility and justification analysis, equipment commissioning
Requirements
  • Graduate calibre engineer or apprentice-trained mechanical, chemical, or electrical bias, with experience from complex process manufacturing
  • Methodical and detailed worker, trained in project engineering
  • Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering backgrounds considered, ideally in a regulated environment, from volume manufacturing
  • Experience developing technical engineering solutions in automated environments
