Job Title: Catering Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Tolson Grange in Huddersfield. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met and their experience is enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring dishes are visually appealing and meet nutritional standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Chef Manager and kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 food safety certificate or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a catering or food service environment, with knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
