We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation and Instrumentation Technician to join our team at United Living Group. As a key member of our multi-skilled site team, you will be responsible for the on-site installation, testing, and sign-off of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical installation and instrumentation works on existing water company sites in accordance with project requirements and programme.
  • Perform FAT/SAT panel testing and carry out panel/MCC works.
  • Work on client sites across the region, including sites that convey sewage and drinking water, and comply with necessary hygiene standards.
  • Specify job requirements and parts/equipment/materials needed, and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
  • Work in company workshops as required and read, understand, and follow risk assessments and method statements.
  • Inspect, survey, identify faults, carry out works, and test electrical systems.
  • Complete required paperwork for each project and compile reports to demonstrate installation and testing work has been carried out successfully, accurately, and timely.
  • Utilize design drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
  • Comply with BS7671 requirements and company/client-specific standards.

Requirements:

  • Accountability for health and safety of yourself and others under your control.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and cooperate with other staff/trades.
  • Ensure quality of work on site is completed right first time and to company standards.
  • Compliance with company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
