About the Role
The Hospital Director will be responsible for the overall management and direction of the hospital, ensuring that it operates in accordance with the highest standards of quality and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Hospital's Senior Management Team (SMT) to achieve business objectives and drive operational excellence.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve financial performance, patient outcomes, and staff engagement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director to develop and implement clinical governance policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the HR function to establish and direct a recruitment and retention plan to meet future staffing needs.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working at a senior level in a healthcare setting, with a proven track record of operational and financial planning, commercial accountability, and leadership.
They will be expected to have a strong understanding of developing services for healthcare, a thorough knowledge of quality and safety standards, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
