About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatal Nurse to join our team at HG Group. As a Neonatal Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing expert care to newborn infants, particularly those who are premature, critically ill, or experiencing complications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and care for neonates in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Promote optimal growth and development in neonates.
- Provide support to infants and their families during their stay in the neonatal unit.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify potential health risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and research in neonatal care.
Requirements:
- Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of six months post-qualification experience in a Neonatal setting within the last three years.
- Specialized training or experience in Neonatal Nursing.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to undergo a DBS check.
- Completion of mandatory training relevant to the role, such as BLS, Manual Handling, Infection Control, and Safeguarding.
