Job Title: Neonatal Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Specialist to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to special care infants and their families, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement care needs of special care infants and their families.
  • Provide direct nursing care to infants and their families, including medication administration and wound care.
  • Supervise and support junior and unqualified members of staff, assisting with their ongoing development.
  • Liaise closely with service users to benefit the infants' well-being.

Requirements:

  • RN/RSCN/RM qualification.
  • Commitment to neonatal nursing and ability to undertake specialist modules.
  • Experience working in the NHS and knowledge of the function of a Neonatal Unit.
  • Experience working with diverse backgrounds/cultures and with parents sharing their baby's care.
