Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the Company:
An established groundworks contractor based in Birmingham, specializing in residential projects with values ranging from £1 million to £30 million. The company is experiencing significant growth and is looking to expand its commercial team.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for managing various high-value projects and ensuring the successful delivery of Quantity Surveying services.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all traditional responsibilities associated with the role of a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
2. Manage commercial aspects of multiple sites.
3. Conduct measurement, valuation, and variations while engaging in negotiations and relationship building.
4. Mentor and guide Junior Quantity Surveyors.
5. Operate independently, taking full responsibility for the successful execution of Quantity Surveying tasks on live projects.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the residential groundworks sector.
2. Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
3. Possession of a full UK driving license.
4. Willingness to commute to various sites in the Birmingham area.
