The Shared Services Partnership is dedicated to enhancing the welfare of children and families in need of social care support. Our Sufficiency Service encompasses a dynamic Category Management Team, committed to securing a variety of high-quality placements for children and young individuals.
We are currently in search of a Commissioning and Commercial Services Officer to aid in the provision of superior services within the Independent Fostering Agency sector. The ideal candidate will assist the team in ensuring that expenditures within the category yield optimal value, thereby facilitating the commissioning of effective and quality services for children at the right time and place.
In this role, you will engage in contract and stakeholder management while supporting procurement and purchasing activities through a compliant framework. You will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in public sector processes throughout the commissioning and contract management lifecycle.
Successful candidates will possess strong organizational skills, advanced IT proficiency, and familiarity with the MS Office suite. Experience in operational commissioning and/or procurement is advantageous, as is a solid understanding of Public Procurement Regulations.
We seek individuals who are confident, solution-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement. You should be adept at building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders. A keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills are essential for resolving day-to-day challenges.
