**Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Officer to join our team at Computeam. As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, including managing accounts, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contacting customers: Ensure timely payment of invoices to meet agreed monthly targets.
  • Logging queries: Accurately log queries and follow through to resolution.
  • Collection process: Ensure the collection process is followed.
  • Reconciliations: Reconcile accounts.
  • Finance inbox escalations: Manage the finance inbox escalations to resolve queries and other requests.
  • Month end processes: Assist with month end processes.
  • Relationship building: Build relationships both internally and with customers.
  • Ad Hoc duties: Perform Ad Hoc duties when required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to analyze financial data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Microsoft package experience: Experience with the Microsoft package, including Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Maths & English GCSE's: Minimum grade C in Maths and English GCSE's.
  • Team player: Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Customer service skills: Excellent customer service skills to provide a high level of service to customers.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Results/target focused: Results/target focused to meet financial targets.
  • Hardworking and persistent: Hardworking and persistent to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Positive attitude: Positive and enthusiastic with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Attention to detail: Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial data.

What we offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per year, depending on experience.

Working arrangements:

We are looking for a full-time Finance Officer to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no weekends.
