Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Officer to join our team at Computeam. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Operations
    • Contact clients to ensure timely payment of invoices and meet agreed monthly targets
    • Log queries accurately and follow through to resolution
    • Ensure the collection process is followed
    • Reconcile accounts
    • Manage the finance inbox escalations to resolve queries and other requests
  • Financial Administration
    • Assist with month-end processes
    • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
    • Perform ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements
  • Technical Skills
    • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
    • Experience with the Microsoft package, including Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Maths and English GCSEs minimum grade C
    • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Results/target-focused
    • Hardworking, persistent, and dependable
    • Positive and enthusiastic with a 'can-do' attitude
    • Attention to detail
    • Motivation and a desire to do a great job and thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment

Working Arrangements

We offer a full-time position with a salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per year. The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday only. We prioritize a healthy work-life balance and offer flexible working arrangements to support our employees' needs.
