Job Title: Associate Scientist

Adaptimmune is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Scientist to join our Vector Process & Analytical Development team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and qualification of analytical assays used for Lentiviral Vector characterisation and release.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and document laboratory work to progress group and company objectives.
  • Participate in group and project meetings and discussions.
  • Routine laboratory maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in Life Sciences, or a related discipline, and a proven ability to learn and develop in order to work independently within a reasonable time frame. The ideal candidate will have theoretical or practical knowledge of some of the following: mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays, ELISA, nucleic acid extraction, qPCR, flow cytometry, upstream bioprocessing, and downstream bioprocessing.

Desirable qualifications include practical experience of laboratory procedures and aseptic cell culture experience.
