Job Overview

Barts Health NHS Trust is a leading healthcare provider in the UK, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team at Whipps Cross University Hospital.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our Women and Children's Division. The successful candidate will have a strong background in general obstetrics and gynaecology, with experience in managing high-risk pregnancies and gynaecological emergencies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population, including managing high-risk pregnancies and gynaecological emergencies.
  • Contribute to the development of our Women and Children's Division, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of new services and initiatives, including the development of new hospital facilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from The Royal London Hospital and Newham University Hospital to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
  • MRCOG or equivalent specialist registration.
  • Advanced Labour Ward Practice ATSM or equivalent.
  • Benign Gynaecology ATSM or equivalent.
  • Experience managing oncology patients (desirable).
