We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join our team at Sealed Air Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our Blown Film Extruders and recycling line.
Key Responsibilities- Machine Operation: Assist in the running of the Blown Film Extruders and recycling line, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
- Pre-Shift Preparation: Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure correct working order, perform operating testing procedures, and maintain and clean machines before and after each shift.
- Quality Control: Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running speed, troubleshoot problems during machine operation, and ensure that machines are producing quality product by managing periodic quality checks on output.
- Inventory Management: Ensure that stocks of materials are ready and available at all times.
- Documentation: Create and maintain activity logs, and provide relevant information regarding progress to supervisors/management.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to Health & Safety rules and department standards, performing regular safety checks.
- Operational Knowledge: Knowledge of operating machinery and understanding of standard operating procedures.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team and remain calm under pressure.
- Attention to Detail: Good attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
