Extrusion Operator

At Sealed Air, we're committed to delivering innovative packaging solutions that protect essential goods worldwide. As an Extrusion Operator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Blown Film Extruders and recycling line.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up machines at the beginning of each shift to guarantee optimal performance
- Perform regular testing procedures to verify machine functionality during production
- Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift to prevent downtime
- Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimal running speed and quality
- Troubleshoot problems during machine operation to minimize production disruptions
- Conduct periodic quality checks on output to ensure high-quality products
- Manage stocks of materials to ensure availability at all times
- Create and maintain activity logs to track progress and performance
- Provide regular updates to supervisors and management on production progress
- Adhere to Health & Safety rules and department standards, performing regular safety checks
- Knowledge of operating machinery and understanding of standard operating procedures
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Good attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure
