Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join our team at Sealed Air Corporation. As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our Blown Film Extruders and recycling line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain Blown Film Extruders and recycling line equipment
  • Set up machines at the beginning of each shift to ensure proper functioning
  • Perform routine testing procedures to ensure optimal machine performance
  • Maintain and clean equipment before and after each shift
  • Monitor machine performance during production to ensure optimal running speed
  • Troubleshoot problems during machine operation
  • Conduct quality checks on output to ensure high-quality products
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies
  • Document activities and provide progress updates to supervisors
  • Adhere to Health & Safety protocols and department standards
Requirements
  • Knowledge of operating machinery and equipment
  • Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
