About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oncology Physiotherapist to join our team at Hca Cancer Network. As a Specialist Oncology Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment to support patients at every stage of their cancer journey.

The successful candidate will have a clear commitment and interest in oncology conditions and cancer rehabilitation, with a strong ability to work independently as an autonomous practitioner. You will be responsible for developing others, including colleagues, students, and other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the evaluation and development of clinical practice and service expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment to support patients at every stage of their cancer journey.
  2. Develop others, including colleagues, students, and other healthcare professionals.
  3. Contribute to the evaluation and development of clinical practice and service expansion.
  4. Work independently as an autonomous practitioner.
  5. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of oncology conditions, treatments, and pathways.
Requirements
  1. HCPC Registration.
  2. Physiotherapy degree qualification or equivalent.
  3. The ability to demonstrate commitment to Continuous Professional Development.
  4. Post-registration specialist clinical experience working in Oncology and/or Haematology.
  5. Post-registration clinical experience across a wide range of core physiotherapy areas, including surgical care, respiratory, acute medicine, neurology, musculoskeletal, rehabilitation.
  6. Experience working across different clinical settings.
  7. Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage a demanding workload and prioritise effectively.
  8. Advanced communication skills.
  9. A passion and interest in cancer care.
