Job Title: Advanced Physiotherapist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Physiotherapist to join our team at Hca Cancer Network. As a Specialist Oncology Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with cancer.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our innovative and expanding oncology AHP team. You will work independently as an autonomous practitioner, delivering physiotherapy assessment and treatment to support patients at every stage of their cancer journey.

The role will involve working with private in-patients and out-patients across various settings at our hospital. You will also have the opportunity to develop others, including colleagues, students, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients with cancer
  • Work independently as an autonomous practitioner
  • Develop others, including colleagues, students, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the evaluation and development of clinical practice and service expansion
Requirements:
  • HCPC Registration
  • Physiotherapy degree qualification or equivalent
  • Post-registration specialist clinical experience working in Oncology and/or Haematology
  • Post-registration clinical experience across a wide range of core physiotherapy areas
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage a demanding workload and prioritise effectively
  • Understanding of oncology conditions, treatments, and pathways
  • Advanced communication skills
  • A passion and interest in cancer care
