Category Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Category Manager to join our Aerospace Procurement Organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and deployment of the global category strategy for Outside Processing Suppliers (OSP).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commodity strategies in line with Corporate, Divisional, and site initiatives to improve supply chain efficiencies, ensure resiliency, and reduce the total cost of supply chain management.
• Ensure compliance of suppliers with Eaton SCM Sustainability Programs, Go GREEN initiatives and SCM policies.
• Plan, prepare and execute annual Profit Planning and long-term Strategic Plans for the owned spend, and support execution with the business cross-functional teams.
• Negotiate and manage cost models for suppliers to include 'hard' money (such as price, volume discounts) and 'soft' money (such as expertise, technical backup) in the context of Total Acquisition Cost (TAC) and Total Opportunity Cost (TOC).

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.
• A minimum of 3 years' professional experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations, Program Management.
• Knowledge of the Aerospace Requirements and ability to identify technology and economic trends within the category.
• Creative & Critical thinking skills to produce new approaches in category management.
• Strong relationship building, influencing and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business Administration from an accredited institution.
• MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain from an accredited institution.
• Multi-lingual (English, French, German).
• 3-5 years' professional experience with accountability across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• 3-5 years' professional experience in Category Management.
