We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Risk Vice President, Solution Engineering to join our team at Redscan (a trading name of Redscan Cyber Security Limited). As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in advising our clients and prospective clients on Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Sales Demonstrations and Presentations: Lead technical sales demonstrations and presentations to showcase our MDR services and solutions.
- Client Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with client technical and leadership teams, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
- Solution Design and Architecture: Design and architect compelling solutions, selecting the right technologies and configurations to address client requirements.
- Proposal Development: Respond to technical questions and requests for proposals, articulating the benefits and value of the proposed solution.
- Sales Enablement: Contribute to the development of sales materials and documentation, and assist with sales-enablement for both internal and partner sales teams.
- Marketing and Communication: Support internal marketing, product, and incident response engagement managers with messaging and communication about Redscan's MDR services.
- Partner Engagement: Engage with key technology and channel partners to represent Redscan's requirements on behalf of our client base.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership, training, and mentoring for junior team members, and contribute to the vision and growth of Solution Engineering within Redscan Cyber.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of customer-facing experience in a managed security, MSSP, MDR, EDR, or similar security organization with a technical focus.
- 2+ years of experience in sales engineering or solution architecture role.
- A proven track record of establishing and maintaining technical customer relationships.
- A successful track record and experience in bidding on complex cyber security tenders.
- The ability to communicate complex technical solutions and topics to a wide range of audiences, including C-suite and senior security engineering.
- A deep understanding of security technologies, including EDR, SIEM, Cloud provider security solutions, Anti-virus, Firewall, and Network Intrusion detection.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, such as CIS Critical Security Controls, NIST 500:83, and ISO 27001.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF and SABSA.
- Relevant education and certifications.
- A self-driven and self-motivated individual with a bias for action.
