Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced medical professional to lead our foundation training program in NHS Scotland. As a Foundation Lead, you will be responsible for improving the quality of foundation training and trainee experience across NHS Highland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Medical Education and Associate DME team to develop and implement a program to enhance foundation training.
  • Work with the north foundation program team to improve trainee experience and outcomes.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the program.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including trainees, educators, and administrators.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A keen interest in medical education and a passion for improving training programs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a clinical or educational setting.

Working Arrangements
