Site Engineer Job Description

Abatec Recruitment is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to work on a freelance basis for an exciting civil engineering project at Devonport Dockyard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the technical compliance of the project to the design specification.
  • Ensure the project is completed safely, on time, and to the required quality.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in setting-out on heavy civil engineering schemes.
  • Proficiency in using Leica Survey equipment, including GPS, Total Station, Optical, and digital levels.
  • Valid CSCS and experience with robotic total stations.
  • Good understanding of construction health & safety protocols.
  • Experience in Groundworks, Earthworks, and RC works.
  • Degree qualification in civil engineering or equivalent is desirable.
Compensation:

£400 - £450 per day (PAYE/Umbrella)
