About the Role
Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and experienced Cashier/Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial support and administrative services to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial support and administrative services to patients and staff
- Process financial transactions, including petty cash and banking
- Assist with financial reconciliation and reporting
- Support the Patient Affairs Officer with administrative tasks
- Provide excellent customer service and communication skills
Requirements
- GCSE in English and Maths Grade C or above, or equivalent
- RSAII or equivalent experience in Word Processing/Typing
- Experience of working within a office environment with cash handling and financial reconciliation experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Good time management skills to work within set deadlines
- Good organisational skills and ability to organise own workload
- Must be computer literate and able to learn and work on a variety of systems
