About the Role

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and experienced Cashier/Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial support and administrative services to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial support and administrative services to patients and staff
  • Process financial transactions, including petty cash and banking
  • Assist with financial reconciliation and reporting
  • Support the Patient Affairs Officer with administrative tasks
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills

Requirements

  • GCSE in English and Maths Grade C or above, or equivalent
  • RSAII or equivalent experience in Word Processing/Typing
  • Experience of working within a office environment with cash handling and financial reconciliation experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management skills to work within set deadlines
  • Good organisational skills and ability to organise own workload
  • Must be computer literate and able to learn and work on a variety of systems
