Workshop Engineer Apprenticeship Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Engineer to join our team at Pertemps Daventry. This is a Monday-to-Friday role with a competitive salary of £30,000 per year (depending on experience).

Ongoing overtime available at a time and a half

Working Hours: 37 1/2 hour week - half an hour lunch

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Repair and service of domestic machines daily within our workshop.
  2. Collaborate with the field-based service team to ensure timely and quality repairs of high-end domestic coffee machines.
  3. Provide clear and concise documentation of repairs and the processing of machines, customer details, and test procedures.
  4. Maintenance and accuracy of stock and parts used or required.
  5. Opportunity to learn and develop skills and work on maintaining and servicing traditional machines.
  6. Full on-site product training will be given in-house to an experienced engineer/technician with a similar background.
Required Experience and Skills:
  1. Workshop repair experience.
  2. Some electrical testing/repair experience.
  3. Knowledge of working on electrical or electronic consumer items or domestic appliances.
  4. Basic knowledge and experience in working with computers.
  5. Full product training will be provided to an enthusiastic candidate who has worked in a similar background.
