Pension Administrator Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Administrator to join our team at Proactive Appointments. As a Pension Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth administration and monthly payroll funding of Defined Benefits policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate client requests and handle a variety of member queries, complaints, and matters regarding the administration of DB policies.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Defined Benefits Administration team to ensure all DB payments are made on time and accurately.
  • Produce quotation information for deferred members and pensioners within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Act as a point of contact for Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) and Pension Scheme Administrators.
  • Support TPAs, members, clients, and the wider DB Team with administration/payment queries, complaints, and service concerns.
  • Support the Defined Benefits Operations team and wider DB Team with various tasks associated with client requirements, administration, reporting, Management Information (MI), payments, and data validation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pension Administrator.
  • Ability to input customer details and access customer information.
  • Awareness of manual and computer-generated benefit calculations.
  • Good background within the Life/Pensions Insurance Industry.
  • Ability to manage your own workload and prioritize a number of different tasks based on business volumes and priorities.
