About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Health Practitioner to join our team at Lancashire County Council. As a key member of our Wider Determinants Team, you will play a crucial role in addressing health inequalities and improving the health of the Lancashire population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of work plans to improve population health.
  • Support the development of evidence-based policy recommendations and work with partners to embed these.
  • Contribute to the commissioning of specific services and interventions.
  • Monitor and support the effective performance of staff in delivering against work objectives and standards.
  • Manage allocated budgets and resources.
