Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Water Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance and support to clients, ensuring adherence to the latest regulations. Reporting to the Water Compliance Team Leader, you will conduct thorough inspections of water supply systems primarily within established industrial and commercial facilities, following a structured inspection schedule.
Your responsibilities will also include promoting, educating, and enforcing regulations related to private water systems. You will assess new supply applications, gathering essential information to formulate responses regarding proposals in accordance with company conditions. Monitoring modifications to existing water supply systems will be crucial to ensure compliance.
In this role, you will prepare and maintain detailed technical reports, utilizing current information systems to document findings and notify relevant stakeholders of completed documentation. A strong understanding of Health & Safety policies is essential, as you will be expected to utilize company systems to maintain a safe working environment.
This position is classified as safety-critical, and as part of the employment process, candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol screening.
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will be self-driven, capable of working independently while providing practical advice. Exceptional customer service skills are necessary, along with the ability to communicate technical aspects of water systems effectively. Collaboration within the team to support compliance with water regulations is essential.
A valid driving license is required, as a vehicle will be provided for this role. While a recognized qualification in plumbing, engineering, or Water Supply (Water Fitting) Regulation 1999 is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
