About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Estimator to join our team at Gap Personnel - Cardiff. As a Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for delivering a complete sales and customer service experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract product requirements from customer drawings and site plans
  • Attend customer meetings and site visits as necessary
  • Provide costed estimates for bespoke products
  • Offer competitive pricing while maintaining strong profit margins
  • Follow up on quotations, reporting on outcomes and customer feedback
  • Maintain an organized electronic filing system with customer drawings, quotations, build schedules, and correspondence
  • Identify market and product opportunities, presenting findings to management
  • Support marketing efforts and contribute to technical updates on the company's website and social media platforms
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and processes
  • Assist in the overall smooth operation and continuous improvement of the company

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role is essential
  • Strong sales and customer service skills are required
  • Confident phone manner and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage workloads efficiently
  • Problem-solving abilities are crucial
  • Familiarity with the housebuilding or construction industry is preferred
