Pharmaceutical Packaging Technician Opportunity

Quality Start is seeking a skilled Pharmaceutical Packaging Technician to join our client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Oxford. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for packing drugs for shipment to hospitals and homecare patients, working to cGMP and ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain equipment in a validated state to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support internal packaging operations, including packaging and labelling of drug supplies.
  • Manage documents and data entry in GMP inventory/distribution systems.
  • Print supplies, materials, and labels as needed.
  • Prepare drug supplies for shipping, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Escalate issues promptly and track requests and orders to support operations.
  • Monitor material stock, usage, and quantity to optimize inventory management.
  • Raise shipments and track them through to delivery and/or receipts.
Requirements:
  • GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science (A-C) to demonstrate a strong foundation in core subjects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to maintain high-quality work.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to efficiently manage tasks and data.
  • A track record of demonstrating attention to detail and being highly organised.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team.
What We Offer:

As a Pharmaceutical Packaging Technician with Quality Start, you will have the opportunity to work with a reputable client in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension or permanent placement, dependent on individual and business performance. You will be paid an hourly rate of £13.69 and have the chance to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
