About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Matron Respiratory to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical and managerial leadership to ensure high-quality care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to the ward team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and experiences.
  • Manage budgets and resources efficiently and effectively, ensuring the optimal use of staff and resources.
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the clinical environment, promoting a culture of quality and excellence.
  • Champion a culture of learning and quality improvement, driving innovation and best practice.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (level 1)
  • Postgraduate diploma/degree in a relevant field
  • Recognised teaching/assessing qualification
  • Management certificate or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years' experience at senior nurse level within specialty
