Job Title: Group Financial Controller

About the Role:

Grafton Banks Limited, a leading financial services company, is seeking a highly skilled Group Financial Controller to join its team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, as well as providing strategic financial guidance to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Ensure the preparation and submission of accurate and timely financial reports, including statutory accounts, group consolidation, and forex management.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business decision-making.
  • Financial Control: Establish and maintain effective internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of financial professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the team's success.
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to provide financial guidance and support, driving business growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a strong background in financial reporting, group consolidation, and forex management.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality financial reports and providing strategic financial guidance.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of financial professionals.
