Job Title: Technical Lead for Pressure Systems and Building Management

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our team in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, and Moray. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the approach to trade-specific maintenance planning, control, and reporting, optimizing our resources and the use of the maintenance management system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the trade-specific maintenance planning, control, and reporting processes to optimize resources and maintenance management system usage.
  • Oversee trade-specific technical operating standards, ensuring their effective application across maintenance operations.
  • Lead the ongoing trade-specific assessment of compliance with legislative requirements and NHS Scotland technical standards, coordinating development plans as needed.
  • Provide a systematic approach to trade-specific asset data and technical information, and their use in asset management and maintenance management systems.
  • Provide team leadership and management for aligned operational teams, ensuring work is conducted safely.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing maintenance in critical environments and managing team performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or construction-related discipline, or equivalent learning through experience and personal development.
  • Proven capability in tactical management of maintenance planning, workflow, and reporting processes.
  • Experience in building maintenance programs.
  • Significant experience in maintenance control and quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Practical experience in planning and implementing change in maintenance services.
  • Proven experience in cost forecasting and financial controls.
