Ideal Personnel and Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join our Residential Conveyancing team on a permanent basis.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential conveyancing, with experience in handling sale, purchase, freehold, and leasehold transactions. They will be responsible for taking initial instructions from clients, opening files through our Office Management System, and dealing with client cases from initial instruction to completion under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take initial instructions from clients and open files through the Office Management System.
- Deal with client cases from initial instruction to completion under supervision.
- Liaise with clients through office meetings and telephone discussions.
- Receive and issue correspondence/mail from/to clients, agents, and third parties.
- Time record all work undertaken.
- Report to and receive instructions from the head of department.
- Adhere to Quality and Work Management Systems.
- Achieve key performance indicator targets, development targets, and evaluate marketing of the team.
- Attend training courses as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a busy residential conveyancing department.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Flexibility in support of other members of staff.
- Familiarity with the Lexcel accreditation, including completion of file reviews, CAR's, and following procedures for case/file management.
