Financial Reporting Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Senior to join our Business Services and Outsourcing team in Ipswich. As a Financial Reporting Senior, you will work with a range of clients from ambitious entrepreneurial SMEs to large multinational groups across East Anglia.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver high-quality financial reporting services to clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports.
- Proactively seek support from peers and managers when faced with complex issues, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
- Liaise with clients to resolve queries and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage the day-to-day contact for allocated clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Where applicable, manage the work of junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful completion of tasks.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide ad-hoc accounting assistance and ensure clients receive excellent service.
- Complete client-take-on procedures for new clients, including preparing engagement letters for manager and partner review.
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experience.
- Solid accountancy experience required, with a strong understanding of financial reporting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting packages including Xero, IRIS GP accounts, and Sage.
- Experience of working collaboratively in a team to deliver projects, with a focus on excellent customer service.
