Financial Reporting Assistant Manager

At Hays Senior Finance, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Assistant Manager to join our Business Services and Outsourcing team in Ipswich. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting services to a range of clients, from ambitious entrepreneurial SMEs to large multinational groups across East Anglia.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver financial reporting services to clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of high-quality reports.
- Collaborate with clients to resolve queries and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, including planning, booking, and preparing financial reports for review.
- Work closely with senior team members to ensure seamless delivery of financial reporting services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial reporting needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experience.
- Solid accountancy experience, with a strong understanding of financial reporting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Desirable: experience with accounting packages, including Xero, IRIS GP accounts, and Sage.
