About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MRI Radiographer to lead our team and contribute to the expansion of our MRI service. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services and leading a team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of MRI Radiographers to ensure effective and safe delivery of patient care.
- Work closely with other management colleagues to develop and implement strategies for service expansion and improvement.
- Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of imaging procedures and governance within imaging.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to achieve a CQC "outstanding" rating.
- Ensure the effective running of the service, including working flexible shifts and adapting to changing demands.
Requirements
- HCPC registration.
- Good understanding of governance within imaging.
- Broad knowledge of imaging procedures.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of RIS/PACS management.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
- Passion to deliver high-quality diagnostic services.
- Evidence of post-registration development.
