About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Worker on our 12-bedded Dementia Assessment Ward.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to patients with dementia, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Support patients with their medication and mobility needs.
- Participate in rotational shifts, including days and nights, to ensure 24/7 care.
Requirements
- A genuine interest in working with patients with dementia.
- Flexibility to work a rotational shift pattern.
- Ability to develop new and enhance existing skills in a supportive setting.
