Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a skilled and compassionate Care and Support Professional to join our team. As a key worker, you will provide person-centred care and support to individuals in a community or residential setting, promoting equality and choice for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, record, implement, and review personal care and support plans in partnership with service users.
- Provide holistic support to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure seamless care and support.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of care and support services, identifying areas for development and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of employment.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, including the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act.
