Residential Correctional Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Residential Correctional Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and secure supervision of individuals in our care.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide a supportive and caring environment, encouraging positive behaviors and promoting rehabilitation and reintegration initiatives. You will work closely with colleagues to prevent and manage challenging behaviors, while maintaining a focus on fairness and consistency.
Key Responsibilities- Encourage positive behaviors and engagement with rehabilitation and reintegration initiatives.
- Contribute to the prevention and constructive management of challenging behaviors.
- Manage individual case work and exercise professional judgment in responding to needs and challenges.
- Complete administration and communications relevant to the role, including processing and analyzing information.
- Contribute to effective operational risk management and ensure the safe and secure supervision of individuals in our care.
- Manage conflict and contribute to local incident management using established techniques.
