Job Title: Full Time Transport Operator

A leading transportation company, A Rhodes Haulage Ltd, is seeking a skilled Transport Operator to join their team. As a Transport Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day planning and allocation of work for our fleet of vehicles.
  • Monitor vehicles and drivers via tracking systems to ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.
  • Engage with customers and drivers via telephone and email to provide updates and quotations.
  • Work closely with our Transport Manager to ensure the efficient operation of our transportation network.
  • Be able to work as a team and independently, with a high level of flexibility and motivation.
Requirements:
  • Previous transport experience is essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £24,000-£30,000 per year.
  • On-site parking.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent. Schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekend availability. Work Location: In person.
