About the Company

Millbank Holdings Ltd is a distinguished technical consultancy and engineering firm specializing in the nuclear sector. Due to the successful expansion of their projects, they are currently in search of a seasoned Environmental Consultant to lead and facilitate the execution of all Environmental and Delicensing (E&D) tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in critical E&D activities, including site delicensing, land characterization, waste characterization, and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) incident response.
  • Support various projects and disciplines such as Safety Case, Waste Management, and Decommissioning and Dismantling (D&D).
  • Develop sampling and analysis plans utilizing both statistical and non-statistical software.
  • Conduct data assessments and generate comprehensive assessment reports using various methodologies.
  • Advise clients on sampling techniques that align with project or regulatory standards.
  • Represent the project team in client and regulatory discussions as needed.
  • Share knowledge and provide training to team members and across the organization.
  • Contribute to proposals, bids, and internal initiatives, while identifying and implementing improvement strategies.
  • Engage in activities that promote continuous professional development.
  • Deliver consultancy services that surpass client expectations in terms of technical quality, project management, timelines, costs, and deliverable quality.
  • Assist in managing E&D projects, taking on roles such as project lead, technical lead, or sub-team leader when opportunities arise.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure both technical and commercial progress.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in an environmental or related scientific or engineering discipline.
  • Experience in a consultancy or industry setting.
  • Project management experience.
  • Expertise in site delicensing, land characterization, waste characterization, and CBRN incident response.
  • Proficiency in creating sampling and analysis plans using statistical and non-statistical methods.
  • Experience in conducting data assessments and providing client advisory services.
  • Ability to represent project teams in client and regulatory meetings.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Experience in Safety Case, Waste Management, Decommissioning, and Dismantling (D&D).
  • Experience in delivering training and mentoring to team members.
  • A track record of contributing to business development through proposals and internal initiatives.
