RPS Group is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our environment team as an apprentice. The successful candidate will have a real interest in geology and contaminated land, and enjoy a balance of office and site works and travelling.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support our geo-environmental teams in environmental and geotechnical ground investigations, environmental monitoring programmes, environmental audits and related activities on behalf of our clients.
  • Work both in the office and site-based activities, including site based environmental monitoring, site based support for ground investigation projects, and preparing information and undertaking assessments to support environmental desk study appraisals and subsequent assessments.
  • Assist in environmental data entry and management, becoming familiar with industry data formats including software packages for the management of geotechnical and Geo-environmental data.
  • Conduct geological appraisals and work individually (with supervision) or as part of a site team.
  • Help prepare factual reports.
