About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team at TM Green Group. As a key member of our sustainability function, you will play a critical role in supporting our operations and corporate sustainability efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the key contact for assigned projects/teams, providing expert sustainability advice and guidance.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of internal environmental sustainability training.
  • Monitor and report on site environmental and sustainability performance.
  • Support project teams in achieving environmental compliance and delivering organisational KPIs.
  • Undertake regular site visits and inspections on assigned projects to ensure environmental compliance and best practice.
  • Assist in writing and communicating site project environmental and sustainability documentation.
  • Support project teams in understanding and achieving building and project certifications such as BREEAM and LEED.
  • Manage the compliance and certification tracker to ensure evidence of compliance is maintained.
  • Support the development and implementation of corporate sustainability strategies and objectives.
  • Represent the company at public forums and events, advocating for sustainable practices.
Requirements
  • Degree or similar in an environmental, social, or governance discipline.
  • Experience in environmental and sustainability support within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and construction management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
    • ISO14001 internal auditor certification.
    • BREEAM Accredited Professional or similar certification.
    • Experience conducting building certification assessments such as BREEAM or LEED.
    • Experience in writing and updating business management system documentation.
  • Core Skills & Other Requirements:
    • Competency in Microsoft Office packages; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
    • Experience using construction management software.
    • Proficiency in sustainability assessment and data reporting tools/software.
    • Membership in a professional body linked to ESG or environmental disciplines.
    • Valid driving license applicable to the region.
