Position Summary: We are currently in search of a Lead Project Management Specialist to oversee a diverse portfolio of environmental design and construction initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful and safe execution of projects, enhancing the company's service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments, supply chain partners, and stakeholders to guarantee the highest standards of project delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and fostering strong relationships.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial inquiry through to successful completion and handover.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and reporting incidents as necessary.
  • Support the commercial team in developing project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost management strategies.
  • Monitor project performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and milestones, proactively addressing any potential delays.
  • Facilitate project meetings, prepare detailed reports on progress, budget, and quality, and manage the performance of project suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using project management software.
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities throughout the project phases, ensuring environmental and heritage considerations are integrated into project planning.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing complex projects, particularly in the design and build sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering profitable projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel as required.
