Audit and Accounts Professional

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Audit and Accounts Senior to join a reputable firm of chartered accountants based in the South-East. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive audit and accounts service to a diverse range of corporate and non-profit organizations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare financial statements from clients' trial balances, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Audit all areas of financial statements, identifying potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Take ownership of allocated work, communicating effectively with managers and partners as needed.
- Meet deadlines efficiently, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
- Contribute to a positive team culture, providing support and guidance to colleagues as required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified, with a strong background in audit and accounts. You should have demonstrable experience in an accountancy practice environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality audit and accounts services.
You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential, as is the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Benefits- Competitive annual salary range of £30K - £42K, depending on experience.
- Annual salary review in July.
- Paid overtime or time off in lieu.
- Auto-enrolment pension scheme.
- 25 days annual leave (pro-rata), with an additional day after every 4 years' service, up to 5 additional days, as well as Christmas Eve.
