We are currently seeking a skilled Technical Operations Manager for our esteemed client, a leader in the employee recognition and benefits sector.

What You Can Anticipate

  • Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid)
  • Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 plus a 10% annual bonus

Key Responsibilities of the Technical Operations Manager

  • Identifying areas for enhancement within the organization's infrastructure and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Evaluating current IT protocols and processes to continually enhance operational efficiency.
  • Overseeing the execution of critical technical initiatives, including a comprehensive cloud migration.
  • Leading a small team of technical experts, serving as the escalation point for intricate IT inquiries.
  • Monitoring infrastructure systems, encompassing both hardware and software, to guarantee optimal and secure performance.
  • Diagnosing and resolving system challenges as they occur, including the upgrading of obsolete components.
  • Creating tailored solutions focused on secure utilization.

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Extensive experience as an Infrastructure or Systems Manager.
  • Proficiency with Linux and multi-cloud environments is crucial.
  • Strong understanding of databases, networks, and patch management.
  • Demonstrated success in executing cloud migrations, including risk management strategies.
  • Experience in motivating and guiding a small technical team.
  • Background in the Employee Benefits or Rewards sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
