Job Summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking a skilled CNC Laser Service Engineer to join our team. As a CNC Laser Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, providing training on, and servicing and repairing a range of Laser Cutters, Laser Engravers, and CNC machine tools at customer sites throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing CNC and Laser machinery across the UK mainland
  • Working in the workshop up to 1-2 days a week when required
  • Collecting machines for delivery and collecting stock for spare parts from the workshop
  • Communicating with customers to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Installing and commissioning new machinery to meet customer needs
  • Performing fault-finding on manufacturing machinery to minimize downtime

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar technical support role
  • Ability to live within a commutable distance of Halifax
  • Willingness to stay away from home up to 2-3 nights a week (never over the weekend)
  • A recognized electrical qualification is advantageous
  • Experience with CNC Laser Cutting and Engraving (CO2 laser cutting for non-metal materials for schools/college/university, Laser machines for metal cutting on a commercial/industrial basis) is advantageous
